Ferry Port and Airport
As a rural island, Anglesey is fortunate to be served by many transport links. Together with the A55 Expressway, which was extended across the Island in 2001,the mainline railway and ferry port, the recently opened Cardiff-Anglesey air link has given the Island the much needed access from the South of the country.
Cymyran Hotel is just a 2 minute drive from Anglesey Airport.
Opened in May 2007, Anglesey Airport/Maes Awyr Môn is located at RAF Valley, less than two miles from the A55 expressway. The Airport provides a gateway for both business and leisure travellers to North West Wales, and offers an alternative to the long journeys by road and rail from Cardiff and the surrounding area.
Linksair offers flights linking Cardiff with Anglesey. For further details or to book your flight, please telephone Linksair on 01302 623114 or visit the website http://www.linksair.co.uk/
Holyhead Ferry Port
Cymyran Hotel is just a few miles away from Holyhead Port.
Holyhead is the historic gateway between the UK and Ireland – Dublin being only 58 miles away. Shielded from the Irish Sea by the historic breakwater, the port of Holyhead is a 24 hour, deepwater, lock-free port.
Road links via the A55 expressway from the port entrance give easy access to the UK motorway network and, within the port complex the railway station offers direct connection to the UK rail network. Car hire is also available.
